Who is Hope for the Hungry?
o Established in 1982 by Dan & Kandy Kirkley
o Mission Statement: "Sharing the Bread of Life with a Starving World"
o Purpose Statement: Hope for the hungry exists to share Jesus Christ with those in the world
who do not know Him
• Active involvement in world evangelism and discipleship
• Assist those in need with an emphasis on children
• Actively pursue efforts to unite the Body of Christ in world evangelism
o Vision Statement: Hope for the Hungry is an interdenominational ministry focusing on assisting
children worldwide, and serving missionaries who have responded to God's call to "Share the
Bread of Life with a Starving World."

o Oversee & support 32 missionary families in 16 countries
